WASTE DISPOSAL MANUAL

To avoid pollution with rubbish and to prevent accident in our work areas and vessels, the Company adopts a system of disposing waste matter and off-cut materials maintaining good, making it the responsibility of everyone at work place and crew members.

The following are measures taken in disposing waste in ELSHCON NIGERIA LIMITED.

All crew vessels shall carry a waste management plan, which shall provide written procedures for collecting, storing, processing and disposing of waste, including the use of equipment on board. Such plan shall be written in the language crew shall understand.

A good number of fly-proof bin or containers shall be placed in all food establishments, work site, vessels and campsites, to maintain cleanness.

Food waste and associated garbage which are returned to port and which may carry diseases or pests should be stored in tightly covered container and be kept separate from garbage which dose not contain such wastes to avoid incorrect disposal.

Waste disposal of offshore vessels after collection will be in accordance with the laws of the government.
