COMPANY COMMUNITY RELATIONS POLICY
The labour and community relation policy of the company is aimed at ensuring peaceful management and labour relation as well as company and community relations and vice versa.
To achieve this aim, the following procedures shall be adopted in the implementation plan.
LABOUR RELATIONS
- Company shall ensure free flow of information from management to workers union and union to management in all matters which will affect the personnel at every stage of the construction.
- Company will continue to give attention to employees welfare and provide adequate incentives with the aim of enhancing peaceful labour and industrial relations atmosphere.
- Employees shall be encouraged to follow laid down grievance procedure in the collective agreement between the workers union and the management.
- The employment policy of the company shall be implemented in such a way that the unemployed qualified youths of the community are not left out. In implementing this, the standard of the company shall not be compromised.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
- The company shall exploit recognized traditional institution in relating to the community.
- When ever possible businessmen from the local environment shall be given opportunity to do business with the company.
- However, all community relations shall be channeled through the client’s public affairs department.
